Shangri-la Winery

Established in 2000, the Shangri-la Winery is mainly engaged in the manufacturing, sale and distribution of ‘Shangri-la’ grape wine (香格里拉葡萄酒) and ‘Tibetandry’ hulless barley wine (大藏秘青稞幹酒).

The Company has over 10,000 hectares of winery and production facilities in Diqing, Qinhuandao and Yantai. It has brought in first-class grape varieties, wine-making experts and wine manufacturing technology from overseas. For making the finest wine, premium grape-producing areas such as the Diqing plateau, Penglai, and Lulong have been earmarked.

Shangri-la Winery has received dozens of awards over the years. Its Plateau 2100 Cabernet Sauvignon of 2009 vintage and the Plateau A5 Cabernet Sauvignon of 2011 vintage were both awarded silver at the 6th Asian Wine Competition in 2014.
